| Picture 1: I loaded down these two picture from Google Earth (tremendous programme). It clearly shows the changes that have happened since the 70's. The whole area to the left of the road going around Terror has been build up. Jarvis Block is long gone being replaced by modern buildings. However five of the old blocks are still there around what is left of the parade ground. Aggie Weston's building and swimming pool can still be seen botttom right. (I was there in 2004 - used by the Singapore Defence Forces). Not a trace left of Suara ! |
